So with all of this praise for the new card this makes me wonder, was there really that much of a difference between the old card in comparison to using the USB outs? Assuming the new card equals the USB I suppose. I'm surprised anyone was using the AES/EBU or BNC outs previously if they had the ability to use USB instead.

I have the BDP-1 and the BDP-2 with new sound card. I prefer the AES connection.

Hope you are doing well. I've really been enjoying the BDP-2 with the new Integrated Audio Device. Your engineering team has done a fantastic job. IF USB then no ... the USB is not affected by the new sound card.
