Power cables for A50V model.

Allow me to ask Descartes? Do you have the dedicated outlets installed for the Accuphase amps? Or do you use Power Conditioner such as Accuphase Clean Power Supply or PS Audio Power Regenerator / Power Plant, etc.?

If you have not installed dedicated outlets for the amp, I think it is far more beneficial to have the dedicated outlets for the amps and use high quality power cords.

P.S. About the power cords and different Interconnects, I think there is no one on this side of the planet who knows as much as Ivan. If there is a new power cord or I/C becoming available, I am pretty sure he already tried one.

Hello megasat16, of course I just have the outlets installed for two A50V in my system.
Ivan is a friend of mine ;-) and I take seriously his advice and those on the forum.

That's great to hear! You should hear some improvements from these outlets. Two A50V, I am envy! Are you using them in Bridged mode or bi-amping your speakers?

Thanks megasat16....It's my sound and for me is pure happyness. Absolutely bridged mono on Sophia II. I have yet to close the circle with the electrical part, I'd be thinking about the ISOCLEAN or similiar things... I need a lot of interesting ideas ....let's boys...!

I was reading this thread and realized that a PS520 was mentioned. I have to share my experience with this. I have A200's/C3800 with a DP550. Speakers are Raidho D3's which are absolutely amazing but I found that on some tracks with heavy mid bass the small 4.5" drivers would pop at moderate volumes, -26 on my 3800. This is about 70-80db in my room. I installed a PS520 and plugged my 3800 and 550 into the 520 with all cables being TL cobalt. I also have two dedicated 20 amp circuits for all equipment . I noticed immediately a bit more coherence in my system with better more control from top to bottom. I could now go to -18 on the 3800 with no piping of the drivers. The amps are plugged straight into the wall outlet. Needless to say this was a big surprise to me. When I set the 520 up the incoming voltage was correct but had 5% distortion. The output voltage remained correct but the distortion

Sorry ii hit send before I finished. The output distortion was 0. So I guess it is true that the power must be clean of distortion for your components to operate the way they should. At least in my system anyway.
