Running fast on the highway is one thing, but racing on a track or even cones, is a really a rush, it's just you the clock and your car.

After spending a day doing cones, I started the drive home, and it felt so, boring, going fast was ok, but racing, even if it's against the clock that's a whole other trip.

I just loved wearing a helmet, taking a marker of sorts and putting racing #'s on my car. Instant race car driver

Best thing I saw that day was a older BMW doing four wheel drift thru the cones, with a dealer sticker and dealer window sticker on the side saying "Sold as is No Warrantee", they flew thru the cones though..

I totally agree...though i haven't officially autocrossed, it is a hoot I am sure!

It's the one time you get to find out what your limits are too. I had someone who had the same exact car as mine, and I went for a ride along, and I walked out of that going my car is capable of doing THAT!!!

now if I just learn to drive it like that

I was doing a pretty good job resisting buying the Z06. Now GM decides to produce a faster model. This resistance stuff is getting tough.................

I have repaired and driven several of Europe's finest cars including the Slr Benz and Porsche Carrera Gt "carbon fiber" I think the Corvette Zo6 handles just as good, is more comfortable and a better built car. The new Zr1 should be even better.
