Clearly the purpose of great speakers is to provide an immersive experience with your favourite tracks. Vivids sound good with all sorts of music. What are you spinning right now? Currently I am relaxing with a bit of Aussie rock nostalgia on a balmy mid winters night (Mid twenties and about 80% humidly by the feel, thanks to a northerly air flow) with a glass of red and some Sunnyboys, circa 1980ish. sounding pretty sweet to me. Im a happy man. ( thats also the track currently playing, moving on to Alone with you. as I press send)

Chris, I'm joining you in the thread.
While I was cooking I was listening to our kitchen system, but now I transferred the CD to our living room system with the Vivids, and it is quite a difference (obviously). Modern Jazz Box - West Coast Jazz CD 25: Gerry Mulligan - Paul Desmond Quartet. Paul Desmond (as), Gerry Mulligan (bar), Joe Benjamin (sb), Dave Bailey (d). Glorious interplay between these 2 geniuses. Bass and drums are decent too, but I prefer the Afro-American bassists and drummers of that time.

Golly Bart . . . . Your signature shows up way over here in Georgia USA. Must be something in the water where ariess lives.
