Thread seems to have morph'd from cooking knives to utility knives.
I like the small spring-assist Ken Onion 'Scallion' from Kershaw. USA made with good steel so holds an edge. Just the right size for a pocket-knife. Don't really notice it is there until one has a use for. Like having a few coins. Have the 4" model for use when in the garden.
