I use high efficiency horn speakers. I have never had active monitors so I cannot help with that.

Fidelity Research FR-24 MKII tonearm is setup with an Audio Technica cartridge for starters. I'll be trying several different cartridges in the coming time.

Charles, I am assuming these are new speakers replacing the previous ones. Zero information on Jon Anderson speakers on the internet. Yuichi horns are there. Many pics of these type horns. Selah crossovers are a mystery. Selah Audio is there but there is little to no mention of crossovers in their extremely minor web space. However, the speakers are beautiful and I am sure sound even better than they look. I'm sure the sensitivity must at least 98 dB. I enjoy very much the pics you post and the names of gear that I know absolutely nothing about and never will.

Best

Charles

Thank you. The Vertical 9844's are what I wanted in a horn separates setup and are not replacing the 604's which are what I wanted in a Duplex style horn. For me both represent the best of the two different styles and they are keepers. I am also looking at a monitor and or single driver style speaker which my friend Jon is helping me sort out. Being able to audition many of his beautiful builds, have him custom tailor an existing design, or completely build something new for me from scratch is a true blessing I really appreciate. . I added these yesterday also from another friends stash.
