Default See ya later RF7II, hello Heritage.....

About 6 months ago, I sold off my Cornwall III's and Heresy III center and replaced them with new, RF series. Since day one, I regretted the move. Fortunatly, I have a GREAT dealer that is working with me on a trade deal to get me back to Heritage. 30 days and counting.

Get you back to what part of the Heritage Line? Klipschorn? La Scala??

P.S.: Could you give us your opinion of the MC275VI with any of the Heritage line? I'm actually very interested in this...

Moving back to CWIII's and a Heresy III center.

MC275VI I have paired with my Khorns now, but had it paired with CWIII's in the past. IMHO, a MC275 paired with Khorns or CWIII's is pretty dang tough to beat. The pairing is phenomenal.

Once burned in I think the RF-II's are decent for what they cost. What is it you do not like about them?

Any reason not to go all Cornwall across the front?

Kinda sucks. I wish I had the room for 3, CWIII's. I had this same set (CW, H, CW) up a few years back in another home and it sounded fantastic. I should have all 3 speakers in the next few weeks.

You know, I just think the CWIII's have a fuller sound to them. I'm not sure if it's because of the mid horn or what. I'm just attracted to the "old-school" design and sound.

For the money, the RF7II's are a great speaker/value for sure. Aesthetic wise (IMHO) the RF7II's are getting kind of tired looking. I think Klipsch needs to do a refresh on their Reference line.
