The Reference series is quite popular too, especially for home theater.

I had the reference line which led me to the heritage line.

Every single one is awesome. From Heresy to Klipschorn, and to the mutant Jubilee. Sounds like real LIVE music.

So, to the OP, if buying new Klipschorns I strongly encourage you to audition Klipsch Jubilees. I got the royal treatment when I got to audition a pair. And if you can give up the looks you will save some cheddar.
Yes, I recall the XRT's. I know someone else (as I'm not sure to whom you are referring) who had some Jubilee clones. Sold them to get the XRT's (the large ones that we listened to). My understanding is he has since sold the XRT's and gone back to fully horn loaded speakers.

Mutant Jubilee... that made me laugh. As in an old time analog laugh.

If you refer to JC, I was unaware that he's gone back to Jubilee's. Mind you, it's the bass bin that is the Jubilee, not the K402 or K510 top horn. My understanding is he made some bass bins himself (JC) with dual 12" tractrix loaded drivers in each bin.

Of course, he's been through more equipment than I'm aware of so it's possible he's made another change. I think he's had more speakers go through his house in the last 5 years than I've owned in 30 years.

Yep, that sounds like it might be JC. Bass bins have the two 12" drivers showing deep inside some kind of horn flair (straight horn, not folded)
