Default 10B Sub EPS with MPS-2

I'm planning on adding a pair of subs to my system using a 10B Sub. While doing some (well, a lot... OK, a ridiculous amount) research online, I found out that the 10Bs come in an EPS (as in external power supply) line which are powered by the MPS-2.

I'm not currently running any other Bryston gear. Would there be a worthwhile improvement going 10B Sub EPS with MPS2 versus a regular 10B sub?
