Ferrofluid life in PMCs
Ferrofluid has proven to be a problem with vintage speakers. It has a lifespan.
Any comments to the life expectancy of ferrofluid in PMCs? Or what PMC has done to alleviate the problem? |

We've approached the issue by raising the quality of the general tweeter build and the type of ferrofluid utilized.....and
the way that it's sealed in the driver. With normal playback use and proper amplification levels, your PMC HF unit should last 20 years, minimum... Hope this helps! Ian.
