Best looking (and feel) remote for me has to be from Plinius



But I'd take an Oppo backlit remote with well laid out buttons any day

Same feeling I had when I upgraded from the REF 5SE to the REF Anniversary 40 , from metal to plastic . A little disappointed , I have not inquired if the metal remote upgrade for the Anniv 40 is still available from ARC .

Further evidence that ARC has been cutting costs. First the cheaper speaker binding posts, the cheaper green PCBs (I don't buy that they sound better than the previous thicker tan coloured PCBs - marketing spin). And the output Meters are now made in China. My 5SE came with a metal remote and it was once of the last ones sold.
