Right into the wall.
So since I've been looking to change, modify, or upgrade my current power situation I decided I would plug the Luxman directly into my power outlet bypassing the PS Audio AV-3000. I was really surprised
 It sounded as if someone tossed a big old heavy blanket over my Harbeth's. I let the LP finish its complete side and plugged back into the AV-3000 and off came the blanket. I then went back into the wall with a different cable and still dull and muddy. I must say I was surprised as I had partly expected no real difference or a slight edge going direct. That being said the PS Audio AV-3000 is doing its job  But now I've got to wonder how a Shunyata Research Hydra or other "higher end" conditioners might sound. Again I've got to say I am surprised

I agree with the moderator (cords and conditioners do make a difference) BUT
high current amps, like Pass Labs and others, may sound better with the unit plugged directly into the wall versus a PLC, which may limit current. At least that was clearly the case with me and my dedicated 20amp outlet. This is one of those areas where an in home audition is absolutely critical. Good luck. GG

Perhaps the correct statement is that I perceive it to be "better". Trouble is all this perceiving is expensive.
