Default Your favorite Mac amplifiers?

Considering that we're in the market for more Mac amplification, I thought that I'd ask the board for thoughts on their favorite stereo and mono amps (regardless of age). I'd also really appreciate some words about why you like your favorite(s) as much as you do...

Thank you for your time

Mine would be the quad balanced amps because they're so much quieter than the previous generations.

I enjoyed the MC 252 most.

Why? Who knows, time place and convenience I guess is why.

The MC312 is a pinnacle of McIntosh solid state engineering that is financially accessible and built for a lifetime of music enjoyment. The MC2102 designed by Sidney Corderman is a blend of tube excellence and iconic looks.

Any of the reissue MC75 monoblocks would be my favorite, followed by any of the reissue MC275 amps, then the MC500, MC7150 & MC2125 stereo amps, in that order. The last two would benefit from a full recap.
