Exactly Dan, I use only the MM input of my Giscours preamplifier.
If you do not have the opportunity to try it in your system, I will bring mine when I come to Florida next time and we will listen to it. I should be there in summer 2014 : Montreal - Québec- Chicago- Orlando / Naples is our project for this year, with G's will.
Give a call to the A23 dealers in the US. They could maybe let you try one in your home and send it back if you don't like it ( and this phrase is one of the most funny thing I ever heard in the audio world... ).

I have the "little one" with a 103r on a sme 3012r attached to the plinth of my Garrard 301 and I love the combo. Which 103 do you have

I have the 103 modified by the Expert Stylus Company in UK.
You "Need" the T2 buddy.
