Default Auditorium 23 Hommage T2 SUT is home....

Arrived this morning and took the place of my standard A23 SUT for the DL103 cart.
Keith Aschenbrenner has been very kind to tell me to try it and return it in case I would not be satisfied. Because actually, the T2 Hommage SUT is specifically made for the EMT carts and not for the Denon DL 103.

First impressions are extremely positive. The level of details and resolution is just hard to believe.
The biggest improvement seems to be in Presence and overall weight of the notes. A clear step up in Realism.
More to come, but so far so good.
Don't know if it is the best SUT in the world as Matthew Rotunda says on his web site ( Pitch Perfect ), but clearly it should not be very far from
the very best ones.
I'm lucky.

Hi Serge,
I have been thinking about it seriously because all the fuss about it by the Shindo boys and after reading the 6 Moons review but a few persons and a dealer told me that the TSD15 would be only a side shift from the 103.
A dealer told me that the EMT Silver is much much better than the TSD 15.
But I tend to trust you and Matt more than the others and I know that you also had the 103.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion.

The EMT TSD15 is a definite step up over the 103. I have both and there is no comparison. The Denon is very good for what it is though...

Neil, I will get the TSD15 but will wait a few months. This way I will fully get the idea of it brings on the table compared to the 103. Part of the difference heard could also come from the better matching of the Hommage T2 SUT to the EMT though....
