I use Zu Mission phono cable, which is very affordable yet high performance and yet easy to dress and route as it is thin and flexible. They will also make up the DIN plug of your choice, my SME V requires a small 90 deg. Cardas plug. They also burned it in for me on their cable cooker. In fact, I use Zu Mission throughout my system.

I use a hovland 2 with a din plug. I got a nice improvement from having it cryoed.. But my key point is because Of the very low signal this wire should be made from wire that is not thick. Designs with litze wire have been touted. Hope someone with an electrical background can comment

I am using Furutech AG12 interconnects between my Micro Seiki m505A tonearn and the phono input on my C2300. Very pleased with the performance.

Hi, I'd strongly suggest checking out a Transparent Ref XL MM2 or higher. Transparent has special phono versions and it's tuned exactly to the impedance of your cartridge.

I recently had my Trans Ref XL MM2 retuned from my Allaerts MC2 Finish to a Lyra Atlas...you can easily hear the diff...those networks are clearly reducing noise and matching to your phono stage...

You have a killer cartridge in that Allaerts

I don't know if the subject of tonearm cable break-in has been discussed here (the low currents are not enough for break-in), but many years ago Harry Weisfeld told me that some people do it by disconnecting the clips from the cartridge and Jerry-rigging a connection to a tuner output (cartridge clips connected to pins (the same size as cartridge pins) soldered to an RCA cable). The other end of the tonearm cable is then connected to a line input on a preamp.

You can use a Haggerman phono cable burner after unplugging the cartridge. Personally, I wouldn't use a burner that pushes voltages greater than those used by MC or MM.

The Purist Audio Design Venustas Phono Cable made a big difference when I switched from the Van den Hul cable that came with my SME IV. I've never been a big cable believer until I made that switch.

I run a set of Morrow Audio Reference PH3 phono cables from my Music Hall mmf-7.1 table....Very quiet cable. The PH6 at $600 seems like a bargain and I can only imagine the musical flavor those cables might provide.

Thank you
