Check with Ivan first for the Paua. He might be able to do something better for you. I didn't know he dealt in Soundsmith when I ordered mine. Either way, if you're in the market, definitely get one on the big discount before they're all gone.

The Paua Mk II is dialed in... And, I have to say, what a spectacular phono cart! Peter Ledermann nailed this (as I'm sure he did on all his creations). The last iterations of this version are going fast, so if you've been on the fence,... you owe this to yourself.

Just pulled the trigger on the Paua, the output is a tad lower than is recommended for my C2300's MC stage, but based on what I've read there should be no issues.

You Da Man! You're going to love this cart.

The gain on my MA8000 is 60db and and I see the gain on your preamp is the same. It's going to work perfectly for you so don't sweat that part. Just take the time to get the cart set up right. It'll reward you.
