I just ordered a rose 150b and happy to hear your experience. I too now use the node 2i, but it goes directly into the dac2 on the MC 2700. I am told that you can have two connections that allow you to compare the DAC by a switch. So you can hear one song through da-2, and next using the rose 150b. I am told the current rose DAC is better than the da-2. We will see if my ears agree.

Me, too. I always liked the "industrial design" of Rose products. It's also gratifying that we presently have an "embarassment of riches" with this new class of truly excellent streamers, streamer/DACs, and streamer/integrateds products from Rose, Aurender, Lumin, etc., that create new value propositions for meeting customer's needs as the "streaming" market continue to evolve.

As an example, my Lumin P1, which is a streamer, DAC, and preamplifer, is so good that I sold my stand-alone LampiZator Baltic 3 DAC, and my First Sound Presence Deluxe preamplifier is at a buddy's house for him to decide if he wants to buy it. I also sold my SOtM SMS-200UltraNeo network bridge to a really nice guy on SBAF. Putting the P1 in my system was one of the BEST things I've ever done for the system, both with respect to functionality, (configuration) flexibility, and features, but most importantly, overall audio quality, as well. The Aurender products are also excellent, I reviewed the N20 for TAS, and I was very impressed with it (apologies for the digression).

Another market entry that has been getting a lot of reviews and visibility is Eversolo, with some really nicely designed and engineered products at very good prices.

Cheers.

Also very pleased with the RS150B.
When first installed it had a few software 'quirks' that subsequent updates fixed. Runs much better today and they continue to listen to customer fleedback thru their facebook group.
To my ears, a proper power cord (Shunyata Delta NR v2 in my case) did wonders for the SQ. The Delta provided such an improvement that I put it down as my "digital audio epiphany".
I especially like that it was not made in china, as so many digital products are these days.
Enjoy!!

I too enjoy my ROSE RS150B, I have compared his DAC section to the D1100 McIntosh DAC and I can say they are in the same league, I have made blind tests with my buddy, my wife and myself (my buddy playing with the remote control), we were not able to recognize which one was playing.

I use it with ROON, and it's fabulous.

My FLAC music is on a SYNOLOGY NAS.

I've mounted a 4To SSD in it where I have HiRes files : fantastic too.

Even Spotify is a delight.

We have a winner with the ROSE.

I listened to a RS150 the other day at my dealer and it is everything that is said about it. Top shelf equipment. For me I'm deciding if I want to order a RS130 which would feed my DACs.

I just upgraded my streamer to the RS130, feeding into my Yggy. I absolutely love the RS130, no complaints whatsoever. But, I pretty much only use Qobuz and the HifiRose radio stations, can’t comment on anything else.
