Congrates!!!
I got the Krell SACD Standard mk2 in March and....well thats my last Krell. It died with very little time on it(work away from home)and $1500 to fix it for their problem is out of the question.Looks like I am the proud owner of a block of Krell metal. Good luck with your player. |

Indeed, even the oldest Krell players are more reliable and easier to fix than those ! |

I have just got my first Krell as well.
Its a second hand KSA150 off ebay. And very impressed I am to. My old amp was a Musical Fidelity Synthesis, which I always liked despite hearing no end of "better amps" from the likes of Bryston, Linn etc. The Krell came as something of a shock. Suddenly I was getting lots of (fast) base out of my small speakers. The rest of the spectrum seemed more "real" with less grunge and hash. |

my first Krell was an FPB 200 not Cast, but first grey version. Great driver, not so musical as I would.
