Nice touch on the PMC box; could have also put it in the Speaker Forum.

Nice Guns!

Thank youse........ (I'm living at the NJ shore, afterall).

Here is a link to Robert Whitley's website and offerings. His uppers are built by Fred Szablewski, who is a well-known local competition bolt/space-gun buiilder. Fred won the M-1 Seniors match at Camp Perry (sort of like our nat'l championships) in 2009. He and Robert are both 'distinguished' CMP shooters.
6mmAR Turbo 40 Improved

Will be shooting the "frosty nutz" match with the space-gun at the South Jersey Shooting Club the second Sunday of Jan/Feb/March and all are welcome to join in the fun. It is an 'any-gun/any sight/any position' match, including using front rests, etc. Not sure if the 'frosty nutz' refers to our mental capacity for shooting in the winter or another part of our anatomy.

Shot a 580-19X today. Starting to get a feeling for the gun.

All right........next 'frozen nutz' match in the morning. Snow & ice & rain at the moment. Temp dropping lout the bottom and wind picking up in a couple of hours. Wind chill in the low teens at first light in morning and still in the low-20s by the time we touch off the first round. Just what the doctor ordered for the hardcore match shooter. Should give my new insullated boots a good workout. The worst part will be that 300yd walk down to score and post targets. Brrrrrrrrr............ When its all said and done and I walk back through the door my wife will look at me and say, "you're nutz".

Just received my 1879 Remington Hepburn in 40-65 back from having new wood and metal finish put on it. Will be shooting it in BPCR silhouette (200/300/385/500m) matches this year. 28" 6x MVA scope shown.

Thank you. Though the idiot (Dale Woody at Gun Fancy) who did the final assembly did not stone the backside of the lever and you can see the mark it left in the side of the receiver when opened. Plus, his bluing work is sorry under close inspection and I'll have to eventually have it redone. He did, however, do a good job on the engraving. The case-color work was not his. He definitely will not be getting the 1885 Low Wall I'm having refurbished.

Got the wood back from being checkered last week. Just in time for the first match of the year this coming weekend. Doesn't look too bad for a 125yr old rifle.
