Interesting. Why did you need to "tape" them?

The tweeters on a Magico are supposed to be taped. You are supposed to seal it. See the pics below on the M3.

I heard A5's followed by M2's last week (preceded by the Perlisten S7t) and the M series was striking in how much smoother it was than the A5. I can't imagine how amazing the M3 is with its extra driver and almost 2x weight versus the M2 in almost the same size cabinet. I thought the Magico speakers were great and they are on my radar for a possible future purchase after hearing them.

Many thanks for your comments. The A5s are amazing IMO. But IMO the M series is a level above. I had difficulty between choosing between the M2 and M3. The M2 is top shelf. I finally settled on the M3s. Beyond words - live a live concert in my living room.
