That would make for some interesting reading wouldn't it Craig.........what I do know though is the transaction we made earlier this week was a direct result of his well written thoughts on that piece of gear.
He had such a wonderful way with words

This thread is both a wonderful remembrance and a terrific reflection of this community. I too miss Dan’s warm insights and grateful his legacy lives on here.

Dan was the person who helped me decide on my tube preamp and solid state amp combo. He was always very patient and helpful with my questions.

Just sort of a random thought....not too long before his passing, Dan and I had been discussing a problem I'd had with one of my components, and had helped me explore different options and some threads here that discussed it. The problem was eventually fixed.

While Dan was laid up in the hospital with a bucket load of problems, he was still asking me how that was going and was everything still working well.

I miss Dan. I always enjoyed reading his reviews. I bought my 601s after his review without even auditioning them. Same with my Aurender N10 and haven't looked back. Both reviews were spot on! RIP. Dan!

Thanks Pete, I too miss Dan greatly. One tribute is that I've gone back to a number of threads he initiated or contributed to since his passing to help with my system since we made a move last year. I guess that may come off as crass or self-centered, but it's meant as a compliment of his knowledge and willingness to share it in helping others in our hobby.
