I am selling the Klipschorns. (see FS: Speakers) I can't fit them in every house I move to! They are by far some of the best sounding speakers and live up to the hype and certainly their spec'd performance rating.

I will keep my eyes out for a MX121/151. The yamaha's sound modes are some of the reasons why I have not moved on. They are fully configurable and provide near limitless customization. Watching NFL in 5.1 Dolby Digital is good, but flip that setting to the Sports Mode and it does make a difference in the surround field. I hear people clapping, chatting, yelling, you name it-- adds to the "you are there experience." I also use the Live/Acoustic sound modes for some music. Still, when I flip back to 2 Channel thru the C2500, the sound is better, but without the euphonic multichannel aspect.
I didn’t sell them! I do use the MEN220 to delay the top and bottom horns, in order to time align them.

The best style room I have found is the speakers along the long wall. Then diffusion in the front and absorption and bass trapping on side and back walls. The ceiling angles down from the front to back; mostly absorption.

And you thought it was old 8yr ago. A testament to the fact that Klipsch speakers are timeless (and get better with each iteration).

I sold my pristine khorns from 1989 just a couple months ago. Sadly the room I had them in just could not be tamed to the point of making them sound nice. In spite of that they still stayed here a long time on just their beautiful looks alone.
