That's the baby right there. I would recognize the metal presets and up/downs anywhere. Can't ever remember seeing them elsewhere. They are unique. It's a beautiful piece as is the BR. Thanks for sharing.

I love my MR88! I will never sell this unit. If you do not have a tuner in the system, you might want to consider giving one a try. It is nice to turn on the system, spin the dial to your favorite stations, and let the music flow.

Trompeta, of course. It essentially has a built in MR87. Note in the specifications the adjacent channel selectivity of 60 dB and alternate channel selectivity of 66 dB. Other than the Accuphase tuners, no other tuners offer these specs. This particular unit is typical for Mac. No other manufacturer offers this much in one unit. Add the DA2 Module and you have a piece that accomplishes virtually 99% of all high-end needs for years to come. Anyone reading this thread should read all the literature including the OM concerning this piece. The tuner module may be more advanced than a MR87.

Okay, then if built-in tuners are allowed, truth be told I have one more McIntosh tuner-that which is built in to my MX117 Tuner-preamp. I believe this is essentially an MR75 built in with a preamp. I used it for years in my bedroom system.
It's in storage now, along with an MC2125 amplifier.

I also have a Marantz 150 tuner, in my office system.

P.S. I love tuners, and tuner threads.

No Mac rack is complete without a tuner! Built-ins count as tuners.
