Diode problem in Focal Stella
Having a problem with the right side of my Stella Em . When I On the PSU it will click 3x before it started to blink & my bass drivers is not working . Tested with other PSU , same issue . Tested on left speaker with the same PSU , no problem . The weird thing abt this is that sometimes the right side bass driver works , sometimes it doesn’t . Suspect the 2 diodes at input terminal of the bass driver . Anybody has any experience about this ?

Diodes are usually good or bad, I've never seen an intermittent diode. I would be looking for a bad solder joint or a short in the crossover or the woofer's voice coil might be the problem.

Ok I thought it could be the diodes since I read similar issue elsewhere . Another oddity is that when its was working , I left the PSU On but system off . Wow , the next day , when I touched it , the metal rim of the bass driver was hot to touch . My left PSU was cold to touch even when I left PSU on . It’s as though the voltage is energizing the huge voice coil constantly
