Hi Fellow AA'ers & Friends,

Thanks for the compliments. Indeed "chessman" you are right on to say mine is a small living space and thats why I would never be able to go for a full HT system, knowing the intricacies I have to tame. Moreover, SPACE is really an issue. Also, 2 channel movie watching does sounded great. To really go for full HT, a NEW home is definitely a requirement - which today, I am still pondering the necessity of it versus the financial prudence I would like to plan for my long term goal - a comfortable retirement - where periodically, I can buy a gear or two to sustain my desires and itch (and a few other vices like a watch every now and then and a new car change - which is not cheap over here, whenever necessary).

Yes, indeed I am having the musical hifi enjoyment/experience of my lifetime, something which I have never been able to fully attain all these years. So, its just plain enjoyment from now on.

In fact, I am planning to listen to some 10 LPs in a day, something I have NEVER done before, not way back in the 1980's and certainly never had for the past decade! I am really having the time of my life with this Meridian system!

Cheers!

Jerry,
Congrats! Now that you've got that setup I'll check out the music forums for what you listen to in your ultimate system. It is a beautiful setup in a truly elegant setting.

Hi "80B",

Thanks for the compliments. I have been listening to the following this evening (and rip them into the Sooloos too - for comparison).

1. Fourplay-Lets Touch The Sky (Featuring the 3rd Guitar Player - after Lee Ritenour & Larry Carlton. None other than Chuck Loeb. Seriously, if I had not read the inserts, I would still think its Larry Carlton. The music is so typical of Fourplay. Very nice sounding CD.

2. Elaine Paige & Friends - Cover most of the past popular hits with almost every known Singer, mostly from the past. Nice rehash of the old hits.

Cheers!

Great one again by fourplay! And a superb system you have there. My next stop I hope. I just keep forgetting to win the lottery each month.
