I'd go on and on, telling you how much you're going to love the s_dly2 filter, but I'm too busy enjoying mine . Congrats!

Most people here use s_dly1 or 2 with 2 or 4x upsampling. You're not going to narrow it down further than that. There's several threads on this, that's my takeaway, and my experience.

Thanks,

As i said i am currently using 2X and S_DLY1.
So far it is sounding very good....lots of detail and very tight bottom end..everything seems more focused than with either of my Sony players..

Definitely play around with s_dly2. It has an effect of portraying the music in more 3d layering, almost an ambient effect without losing detail. In my opinion it's what really sets the k03 apart.

Congratulations woofer. The stock K-03 is a very good player. You may want to know that I have found the greatest improvement by far to the K-03 is the addition of a Rubidium Atomic Clock. I put one on my system and by gollies - you have an altogether different player. Esoteric made the K series awesome by putting the 10MHz input feature on their players - yet reading these forums, it seems that so few people have actually unlocked the enormous potential of their Esoteric players. For me the search for high end digital playback sound reached the 'pot of gold at the end of the rainbow' when I added the Rb clock. I cannot recommend the Rb clock enough.
