Just sold my beloved klipschorns that i had for about 10 yrs. Arent the cornwalls heresy and forte just smaller versions?

Not at all. Look on the Klipsch website. The CW, Forte & Heresy all have direct firing bass drivers (not folded horns) and quite different horns from the Khorns. You might benefit from reading some of the reviews of newest iterations of all three models. Two of the reviewers on Stereophile picked the Forte IV as their personal choice for the 2021 Product of the Year.

Thx YB from a fellow NJ resident! Awhile back I was considering the Bob Crites Cornscala. I ended up with preowned Maggies and a brand new mc462 lol.....very recently I sold the khorns....so my sonic journey continues.
The maggies are just sooo magical. except for the bass. The more I look at a RnR speaker the wider the field becomes....haha |

I, too, favor the JBL L100 Classic for rock. I have a pair here. Not my primary loudspeakers, but they do rock!
