Default My best vinyl accessory ever !

Hello friends,

I used various cleaning machines and got tired of them. They are noisy and time consuming.
Make this hobby look like a job to me.

Now all my turntables have a Transrotor brush. 80 euros. And my styluses only see a clean groove.
No more surface noise due to dust.
Simple. Efficient. Costless. Silent.
The brush follows the groove at the exact same speed of the stylus.
2 sizes of plot to accommodate most platter heights.
Incredible quality for the price.

Best wishes, Jerome

Hi Jerome....hope you are well my friend! That device reminds me of a device that was around for a while in the 70's that I had for a while and thought was pretty cool. I can't recall the name of it at the moment but it will come to me.

I may just look into one of these. What Turntable is that you're using?

There were several such devices back then, probably the most common was the Watts Dust Bug:

Hello Pete,

I am fine thank you. Hope also all is good for you.
This turntable is a Pink Triangle Anniversary with SME V 9 tonearm and Koetsu Rosewood.
Fabulous when set up correctly but a PITA to do so !

My preferred weapon of choice.

Some pics of the Tru-Sweep on my VPI-HRX

This final photo shows the ground wire that helps to dissipate static electricity. The Tru-Sweep tracks the album at 3/4 of a gram.

Overall, I am very pleased.

That's a beauty Ivan....though something is telling me that's not going to fit my present TT, at least not with the dust cover. I could be wrong, depending on how many adjustments are available with this device.

(I do almost always completely remove my dust cover when playing an album, which may help as a workaround.)

Very nice.
The Transrotor also have a ground wire but I do not plug it. I did not know that it would reduce static electricity. 🧐

Is the idea to connect the ground to the turntable's grounding post (or to the same ground that the turntable is connected to on the preamp?
