Yes Tommy,

I listened to the Osiris with the Isis, and with their new flagship speakers, the RS10.

Jerome, very sexy! Perusing that review, I noticed the build quality of these units making their "value" higher than so many other components out there! These are not some stamped sheet metal units It reminds me of the build of Ayre components. Not to mention the high quality caps, transformers and more than adequate power supplies, as well as laser assemblies and transport mechanism.

Good luck with your audition and perhaps "addition" to your system! Looking forward to your impressions.

As far as SACD, I for one would not miss it. I prefer the XRCD by a wide margin due to the source of the musical content (analog master tapes) and the manufacturing differences. XRCD breathes with life and analog warmth.

Tone Audio also reviewed both units with equally flattering results

I think it is a real nice touch to include a quality power cord and interconnect with each piece.
More manufacturers should also follow this practice

Yes, and Serge wrote this in his review :

"I suspect that many of the Osiris
buyers will come from customers who were
looking at Luxman, Burmester, darTZeel and other
premium integrateds. Initial reports from Rega
indicate that they are the same customers who
gravitate towards these two components."

Exactly how I feel..... : I stated already that the Osiris impressed me more than the DarTZeeL CTH8550.

Serge, I won't miss SACD either. Actually, I would buy right away a REGA top of the line dac identical to the one of the ISIS, but with other inputs than USB : at least coax and eventually but not necessarily an AES.
I wonder if the USB / COAX adapters work well....

Jerome,

The April Music Stello V2 appears to be a very good USB/COAX adaptor.

Buddy, thank you but to use the dac of the Isis with my Squeezebox Touch, I would need the opposite actually : an adapter than transforms the coax in to an USB out to get in the USB in of the Isis.
