Seriously, I think you have one of the best systems in the AA community, along with Ivan of course, otherwise, it bans me if I don't put it in, ehehehe.

It is thanks to people like you that new audiophiles enter this beautiful world today!
In fact, in addition to buying fantastic products, share your achievements with photos and detailed comments, and all this, let me tell you, is fantastic!
McIntosh-maTRIX, well thank you so much! AA has a wealth of knowledge in its members. I hope I have contributed in some small part. I am surprised at how much my bass has changed by the addition of this plinth. I would not have thought this possible. Apparently the Thor was receiving back significant acoustic feedback. On really heavy bass with the room, floor, and walls of the Thor vibrating, the Acoustic Diodes exhibit zero vibration. I can place my hand on them and there is no vibration even though the floor is significantly vibrating.

Best

Charles

I would recommend them for all applicable Wilson speakers.

That is just amazing Charles. You've got to feel like the guy in the old Maxell tape commercials.

Very well done indeed. Enjoy in health and don't damage your ears bro! Can't wait to hear your impressions of the new MC3500 mkIIs!

I'm not surprised about it:
Wilson makes fantastic products and its X-Material could only be matched by carbon fiber (I think).
The latter, I have read, could transform a speaker (if it were used in the construction of the cabinet) into a sound wave propagator.
They have shown, in fact, that among the elements used in the High-End field it is the one that propagates the sound with the highest speed and very few vibrations.
You hit the mark with Wilson!

80B, thank you for the kind comment. I'm looking forward to receiving the new amp but I have no idea when they might arrive. I have done what I can to receive one quickly.

Best

Charles

The system is amazing Charles.
On this level everything matters. I'm not surprised that the plint works well.

It's always nice to hear about great upgrades.
