Nice Tony, still some of the best looking speakers out there……did you get a chance to listen to them before placing your order???? Curious how they compare to what you have. I would imagine even if the sound is similar, you’d get a much large sense of scale and dynamics.

Thanks Buck. I haven't heard the Il Cremonese, but have spent some time with the Lilium, the next model up, and sound characteristics are supposed to be similar. Still it's a bit of a gamble, but I have an arrangement with my dealer that he takes them back if I don't love them. Versus my Amati Futuras, I'd say the Liliums had greater scale, wider soundstage, better defined bass, and leaned a little more toward neutral rather than warm.

Tony, absolute congrats! I'm sure the "gamble" will pay off and you will be richly rewarded.
I wish you many years of enjoyment with your new speakers.

Best

Charles

Absosute congrates Tony. I love the gamble but hate the wait time which appears to be the new norm. Kudos to your dealer for making it a basic no risk deal.

Default Tony aka antonmb's system

Speakers have been in house for 12 days and are breaking in nicely. My dealer took my Amati Futuras in trade and offered a full satisfaction guarantee, but I guess he knows me and my system well enough to know I wouldn't send them back once I heard them in my setup. I'm a happy camper.

Wow! Great pics Tony. The speakers are just gorgeous! Please take a few minutes to describe to us what they sound like, together with your overall thoughts on them.
