Default Hey Serge?

Several months back I asked you about using the Pole Pig & 600S in a PM elsewhere.

I'm about to take delivery of the PP for my front end and have a couple questions for you.

First, since I use Martin Logan and need a power cord, would you consider them front end or back end? I know I can try both and compare, just wanting to consider your opinion.

Second, Did you find any benefit of upgraded cords? If so, was there a particular spot or all of them?

This uncharted territory for me and do not want to flounder around to terribly!

Gordon

Hi Gordon, It is system dependent and takes some experimentation. To start, I would use the Pole Pig to isolate the front end from the rest of your gear. Plug the Pole Pig into the 600s and plug your CD and MDA into it. You will have to play around at this point plugging the C1000 into the Pole Pig or the 600s to see which way sounds better. You should also play with your 501s and MLs by plugging them into the 600s or just the wall. Between those combinations, one should stand out as being the right one for you.
