When we got back home, it was home theater demo time.......we headed down to the home theater for some 4K UHD demo material on the JVC projector......I made Rob and Steve sit through about an hour of Avengers: Infinity War. We also demoed the Dolby Atmos Roger Waters the Wall blu ray and some live concerts including David Gilmour Live in Gdansk and the Corrs Live in London. My friend Charles is an ISF certified calibrator.....he came over last week and calibrated the projector for me, can't tell in these photos but the JVC throws a stunning image.

Next up was a trip to Hifi Buys, one of the truly great dealers in the country, just a bunch of really nice genuine guys who love the hobby, have fun with it and want to share in the fun without the audiophile snobbery. They just picked up the Wilson Audio line a few months ago so we were able to checkout the work that our own Bill (Metaphacts) did down there when he set them up
 They had the Alexia 2s, the Sasha DAWs and the Yvettes (I think). It was great to meet everyone in person. Very discriminating ears while we were listening - I enjoyed it and benefitted from it. My only regret is that the room wasn’t built when those guys were here and they couldn’t hear the new rig (including the amazing Lampi). Hopefully, everyone will come back this fall and we’ll have a big time. Adult beverages on me.
