Default A great book....

I would like to mention a great book that I finished reading a while ago. It is called "Get Better Sound" by Jim Smith. It is the best reference book I have ever had the pleasure to read. It is basically a set-up manual for your audio/video system, encouraging you to extract the best sound form the equipment you already have. It tells us that the "room" is the most important part of the audio equation and not just the gear. I believe it is a must read and serves as reference for years to come.

Have a look at Ayre.com under "what's new." It gives more information and ordering instructions. I encourage you to take a look.

I agree. I recommend it as well. It has some well-known advice, but also some contrarian views.

Agreed - I haven't read it cover to cover yet, but the tips I have read so far have proven useful and I believe in the long run will make a positive difference in my room/setup. Well worth the cost and time to check out
