My visit yesterday to Ivan's home
i flew yesterday to spend 4 hours with the master himself. what an amazing experience. to listen to reference systems and understand how good music playback can be was mind blowing. yes it does come at a cost but it was nice to hear so many different levels of systems under one roof. not only is ivan hospitable for opening up his home, but his level of sparkling cleanliness and being meticulous from setup to his storage closets was very impressive. i left his home with my head spinning as to which direction i would like to go. the most important take away i learned; at the end of the day, its not about reviews or what sounds good to others; it matters most what sounds best to your ears. i discovered that with Ivan leading the way. my time was limited and i kept pushing the time envelope(i had a return flight to make) and asked Ivan just one more listen for comparison. only digital today; analog for another visit. i would encourage you to visit Ivan if you have not done so; it is truly a unique experience all under one roof. thank you Ivan!!!!

That's great. Must be a wonderful experience to listen to all these great gears under one roof. The "danger" is that the wallet would be lighter after the visit  . Perhaps one day, I will pay a visit to Master Lu.
