Taj still has several shows left at the Jazz Alley, go if you can, it’s such a great venue.

Staying home. I could never forget those "wonderful" previous Thanksgiving travels in my life. 50 Million people are expected to make the pilgrimage.

The only travel I'm doing is from the listening room, to the dining room, and the living room.

We enjoyed our 5-days in Paris. No turkey, but the grand-kids enjoyed the escargot and pate we had several times. We found the best escargot (1st pic) we have had in an otherwise average bistro (La Source) at the corner of Rue de Grenelle & Blvd de la Tour-Maubourg in the 7th, next door to our hotel. We gave them a try as it is oyster season and La Source had them out front and it was raining. A fortuitous choice. We started with a dozen of each and ordered a 2nd dozen of the escargot. Skipped the oysters and went directly for 3-dozen escargot at lunch the next day. Good bread and excellent pate, as well, to say nothing of the Cote du Rhone vin.
A restaurant of note if you are into beef is La Petite Périgourdine on Rue des Ecoles a block west of the College du France. Excellent boeuf (beef) and typical excellent service we almost always find in French restaurants (same in La Source). 2nd pic is our grandson enjoying the serving of aligot (which tastes like paste to me - am on a salt-free diet and it begged for salt). In addition to the excellent beef they offered, their l'oignon soup was spectacular. Best I've had. And, their wine list is extensive and fairly priced. Just tell your waiter what you prefer and let him select for you. They know their vin. Last pic (I posted the pic's temporally backwards) is in the La Boite aux Lettres where we had lunch after our 10 a.m. arrival at the airport, so a bit tired. Again, an excellent pate & vin before a traditional lunch of steak/frites, corque madam and parmentier hache (something of a French version of shepard's pie). My apologies for lack of proper punctuation, but is a PITA on this computer.
