Well, today I lost out on an ebay auction for the 4 LP 45 RPM single-sided Charles Mingus, "Ah Um."
 In protest, I will not listen to Charles Mingus's "Ah Um" and instead put on... Antonin Dvorak, "Symphony No. 9 From the New World" Berliner Philharmoniker, Rafaul Kubelik Deutsche Grammophon 2530 415 (LP)

Listening to . . . Solid Brass at the Opera - Opera Favorites Arranged for Brass and Percussion.
A Dorian CD By the Group SOLID BRASS - some of New York City's finest musicians.  This is a true Demo Recording - Excellent. Some would argue that all brass is not appropriate for opera music written to be played by full orchestras - but this music is fun, enjoyable and well done - even if not fully in keeping with what the composers may have intended.
