My first pair of real speakers were a pair of Infinity Crescendo 3008, they were pretty decent, descended from the classic Kappa line.

My first set of what you would call audiophile speakers were a pair of rosenut B&W P 6s......these things were (and still are) fantastic sounding speakers for the money. They didn't have a ton of bottom end, but they image like a champ. They also looked awesome after you applied some lemon oil to the cabinets.

I think my first pair were some Polk RT-55s. I've grown up with Polk, and while not high end for most of their range, I like their sound. I will always have a pair even as I upgrade.

First "good" pair - 1963 - Electrovoice EV-2 (That's 50 years worth of dust, folks!)
My brother still uses them!

Technics SB500
My first pair of speakers with Technics SB500's. They were kind of rough sounding but music did come out of them.

My first were H.H. Scott speakers with a Fischer 450T receiver and Dual turntable. Just typing the sentence makes me recall how long ago that really was.
