I am sure you asked yourself if you have a made a right decision in your choice of speakers purchase. My thought process is such that this should be my final speaker and the choice is clear, it' s got to be high efficiency and tube friendly. The 753 is something that I have always been intrigued with. The latour are too big and too expensive
The petite too tall, did not consider the 604, wonder why? Perhaps it's because the size of the 753 is all I can accommodate, the 15 inch woofers is a plus point. With the space constraints, I know that the speakers have to be placed near the back walls so a sealed design seems like the best bet. Near field listening seems to be working out too. Hope this can help those decide that the 753 is indeed a solution for those who want Shindo speakers but size and space is an issue.

Are there any news here? Any new owners of Shindo, A23 or Line Magnetic speakers?

Actually I have a Giscours WE349, Cortese F2a and Salabert in open buffle system that I like a lot, but I intend to match it with bigger speakers. Two of my favorites are a Shindo Petite Latour alnico (806a, 414) and a WE/Line Magnetic with 7331 bass cabinet, 22A wit LM 555 and 597.
How would you compare these alternatives regarding sound quality. I like big scale, realistic acoustic music, mainly classical of various genres, but pop and rock, even hard rock as well.
Thanks for any help and recommendations.

Balazs, did you make a choice on your Shindo vs. LM speakers or still searching for the right one? I think the Petite is an excellent choice for smaller rooms, for larger rooms the Latour will sound better.

I’ve got 604 Latours (Haut Brion, Vosne Romanee) in a small room. Big house, many small rooms, and the listening space is small for now. 12’ x 18’ or so. Sounds powerful. Plenty of carpet and a big sectional to absorb high frequency cy sound at higher volume. Great lower register response. I used to have a brighter sound treated room that was fabulous. This is more intimate.

Point is, Shindo speakers with Shindo equipment is a sure thing. Great impedance matching. Meant to be.
