Sorry Serge, I don't mean to be offensive but modern technology does not mesh well with this video unless it was shot using regular 35mm film designed for daylight use with a regular home video camera.

By imagining in the UV, it would have been possible to get a bright image that would be clearly visible to the average Joe. So, if the Alien was sensitive to light a camera that was sensitive in the UV range could have been used in order to bring out all of the details of the Alien and the surrounding areas.
I would agree that the Military does have its share of morons but those individuals are not likely to be in a area where such a profound and important event(s) such as the Alien interview would be taking place.

Greg, this was back in the 1950's so the video equipment was not as advanced. Due to very strict clearance levels they may not have had the best guy for the job either. Keep in mind this is just one of the many rumored such interviews as the alien was there for quite some time.

I thought that this was shot within the last 2 years or something? It's in color too.

They had color back then. The alien, or "J-Rod" as they refer to them was not the only one there over the years. By the way, rumor has it, they were pretty tight with the aliens who used to frequent them at the site until an incident where one of them was whacked by an over zealous security guard who thought one of the aliens made a threatening move.... After that, nada....

Boy, my re-watching Seasons 1 & 2 (so far) of Deadwood these last few days sure has kept me away from some interesting topics. Aliens and Astroids.

Who needs HBO when you have A.A.?

The AA posts won't rot your brains and it won't percolate into bubbly, cheese goo and no one is going to slurp them through your ear canals, cause' we're not aliens and that's not what we do....
