Many hot dog stands in the Chicago area refuse to put ketchup on their dogs even if you request it. They'll give you some packets to use for your fries and you can sneak it on if you insist, but ketchup has no place on a Chicago style dog!

Surprise, surprise . . . . the Costco - Kirkland Brand - all beef hot dogs are really good. Probably better than any "grocery store" brand I've ever tried.
I guess they are the same as those sold in the "food place" in the Costco stores. And, you can serve them with or without catsup or even ketchup.

Maybe in Chicago, but not in Fenway Pahk,where they do use ketchup but not all those vegetables!
