True...the write ups about it have generated my interest, as well. I didn't want to add that it sounds good in YouTube videos because it's YouTube... but it sure sounds and looks good to me for a YouTube video - check out the av show reports account if you're interested

Heard a stand mount model at RMAF, and as Tony "Antonmb" says in an earlier response - they were a bit too bright. Could have been a bad demo?, but .......

Here is what I propose on Borresen Speakers. 1st we all learn how to spell the name correctly. Then we breakout the listeners between those who still hear over 10k and those who do not like me. I think the result may be- Over 10k folk=too bright. Under 10k folk= love the sound. Only box speaker I might choose over an electrostatic. Lars and Michael-Come to PNW Show
with a big boy model!! I've heard the little one twice. Stop teasing!!

10 years ago I’m sure someone would have started a topic asking why there wasn’t one for Raidho

What amazes me is how many speaker manufacturers there are and how do they stay in business? One would think that on the Wilson forum someone would be announcing the purchase of a new Alexx V. It's rare on AA for someone to purchase an expensive pair of new speakers. Many of the preferred models are the older ones. I agree I seriously doubt that anyone would ever purchase a Borresen loudspeaker nor would there ever be anybody to own one. What then would be the point of a forum?

I'm shocked that Borresen Acoustics does not have it's own Forum here !
Audio Group Denmark which Borresen are part of have a new capasity onboard, founder of Gryphon Audio. Kind of strange news [emoji848]

There is no forum for YG Acoustics, which is IMO more shocking. I have YG Sonja XVi speakers so there is at least one owner here.

I attended the Florida Audio Expo in Tampa last month.
The Borresen-Aavik-Ansuz room IMO, was the BEST sounding of all. Even their smaller 01 model speakers, hands down, sounded amazing. The only "room" that came close was the MBL setup with their $750K X-TREME speakers, yet I felt the Borresen sounded best. I would buy them in a heartbeat. Caveat: I have never listened to Canton-Magico speakers. |
