I have been very pleased with the Sonus faber brand

Hello, do you prefer the Amator III over the Nova 1? I am thinking about upgrading my cremona auditor’s.

That is tough to say since the Novas are still breaking in. The Electa are amazing speakers and with the right speaker cables can play bass notes rather well. I went from WW Equinox 8 to WW Eclipse 8 and initially noticed the increase in bass extension. I had the Auditor Ms prior to the EAIIIs and immediately noticed a much wider soundstage along with improved imaging.

Auditor Ms were my first and only Sonus faber purchased about ten years ago for a 2nd system. They sound marvelously romantic and are beautifully crafted!

With the Il Cremonese, I’d imagine you’re in music heaven! Saw them in-person once at a local dealer, they looked majestic with a finish to die for!
