You have to wonder how this sounds...

That's 6 pcs of Sub EM Utopia, passive, all with electromagnet. That's 83% force factor from the last generation of the grande.. Each.

The Sub Em's designed to be stacked. The lower ones is indented that fit the massively huge and heavy subs a top each other, and the one right on top has a smooth finish.

Since the Inverted Be tweeter has an Infinite Amplifier Load capability and patent, there no worry of the even distribution of frequencies. And Focal Utopias have beautiful mid range to begin with.

The sub will do 500-1000 watts each. I've heard the subs in 2s, but not in 6 pieces. They are... Out of this world.

Now that's a pretty slick design feature. I never realized the Utopia subs could do that. Very nice.

Can you imagine the cost it will take to have this, and to fully equip with high end electronics?

I can't even imagine the sound output of these master pieces when they are fully optimized.

Man o man.

The entire utopia line is just mind blowingly good. Very hard to beat them, and they pair unbelievably well with so many different types of gear to tailor to the sound you like.

With the sub stack, well...

Ivan, time to ditch the McRooms and go French!

I agree, though I have learned that proper set up and system matching is paramount to make the Focal line really sing.

I have heard that some of the top pairings for electronics and, say, a pair of Grande EM's are: Boulder, VAT, Soulution. I have not heard of all that many parings but that means nothing and I am sure there are others. One amp maker I would love to hear paired with the big boys would be the uber beasties from Analog Domain....

Once a pair of Focals are broken in, dialed in and paired well in a great room, I think that Focal is close to invincible....just my humble opinion from a Focal junkie...

Cheers,
