Greg

I was probably the biggest cable skeptic on AA but this picture here even makes me cringe

By the way I switched my monster speaker cables over to some audioquest cables and did not hear any improvement but when I tried the wire world speaker cables it made a difference. Here is a thread I started and somewhere in the middle here http://audioaficionado.org/cables-ga...ot-hype-8.html I changed my tune.

Then AWG-10 jumpers route the amperage to another barrier strip where the C33 Monitor Amp output can be connected:

Finally.. there's another barrier strip behind the video stand/rack where the speakers are aside the the panel display (upper corners of the photo.) The cables are terminated with Michell Sure-Loc Rhodium plated banana plugs. These will not come loose, as the more you tighten the thumb-screws, the tighter they become in the jacks.

Third barrier strip behind video rack connects jumpers routed to jacks on the bottom of each speaker.

Now I bet you're all really cringing!!

So what do recommend for my application?

That is a lot of connections. It's the connections that make me cringe. It seems like all those connections would degrade the signal.
Have you really been using this same wire since 1988. I had some old monster cable I probably purchased about the same time, that was in a storage bin in my workshop since about 1991, and it was completely green, when I through it out a couple of years ago. Your looks brand new.

Have since changed the configuration somewhat. The first barrier strip is now attached to the cabinet backing with screws (where the shelf is anchored) where it used to be mounted in 1992. The 8 ohm jumper cables have been removed and only the 4 ohm taps now come out to the terminals.

The AWG 10 Monster cable has NO sign of green oxidation whatsoever and no crimps have ever come off, or even come loose.

On the opposite side, the RCA cables connect to the amp input jacks directly through 1-1/4" holes drilled in the backing with a hole saw. They don't line up perfectly.. but close enough.

The cutouts are blackened with a Sharpie marker which looks crude in the pics, but that's because they're close-up macros or flash photos. From a normal standing position the holes look dark.

Gregory...lots of connections, nice, neat work and solid connections but have you tried hooking the system(s) 'normal'.

By `normal´ do you mean one single pair of cables? Afraid they wouldn't be long enough, but at least one or maybe two jumpers could be removed. Even better would be to run long RCA cables and place the amp between the speakers? Would 30 foot phono cables be ok?
