Stephen,

When you spin a record, you remove the cover because it has an effect on the sound right ?
I have noticed that the P9 cover can be left in place with no effect. A good think to keep the record clean when it is being played !

Yes, I usually remove the cover when using the Rega.

FWIW, I do remove my album covers before playing LPs, but I leave the MoFi sleeves on so they don't get dusty!

I always leave the stylus guard in, so my cartridge remains very clean....
