Actually, it is CSMC (Connecticut Shotgun Manufacting Company) and RBL is the model designation. Believe Ivan knows the founder/owner of CSMC. If you read the article in the link you can view some of their handiwork and will see that CSMC's offerings can be considerably less expensive than their Italian/Spanish/English competition, which are also some very fine guns. As the article states, it is nice to have the option of owning a USA made, high quality fowling piece. Like the McIntosh of smoothbores.

Thanks, I'll look deeper into the brand.

I like my S&W 686 and my handful of CZ semi auto's.

My Mosin-Nagant M39 is my favorite long arm.

Rare find indeed.

Another one for you Pete

I have a regular Python in Blue also brand new unfired, just not an Elite.
Nice! I have an unfired nickle plated 6" Python.

I was in the local gun store searching for a Sig, I forget which one now. The fella behind the counter suggested a CZ P-06 as perhaps a better alternative. He was right, I've been a CZ fan ever since and saved ~$200 in the process of that transaction alone.

Also an S&W (and Ruger) wheelgun fan. Have a tricked-out 586 (blued 686) w/6" barrel for revolver competition (which I rarely shoot these days ). Had a CZ-75, which was a nice pistol and should have held onto. On a positive note, S&W has re-released the 586 in their Classic series.

I have Sigs, just no convenient photos to share. Also, Rugers, Glocks, S & W's, Kimbers, a Browning Hi Power, and several Colts.
