Well Mike, I'll make sure I make room that is for sure, a few things will go to make room and make the room more accommodating for the Wilson's

Hey guys if you are interested I have a set of W/P 6s powered by Krell 600s that you could have a quick listen to and see if you like them. I am over in Berkshire

Hi George, that is very kind of you to offer and I would very much like to take you up on that offer, obviously when it is convenient with you ?

Thanks

Giancarlo

Yes, I know Trevor through previous business and did meet him at the last Guilford Audio Show which was superb and is the reason I am back looking at Hi Fi again, LoL

I would certainly like to get to hear and get a feel for these speakers especially with the differences that people are telling me from what I can gather from versions 6,7 & 8 of the Puppy's and want to make the right purchase and if it means waiting a little longer for the right choice then I am Ok with that, but it would be great to be able to evaluate the different versions because what is one persons taste may completely differ to another, so it is very subjective this hobby

Hello George,

Sorry for the late response but I have just tried to send you a PM and it has said that you are not allowed to accept PM's ????

So I do not know how to progress with this?

If you want to email on gmassironi42@gmail.com then please feel free George

Default Wp 6

On my quest to scratch an itch I auditioned some minty WP 6's at a local shop.

I thot they sounded very very nice but not as nice as I expected.....

Time to demo some more and hopefully become smitten with something

IMO the 7's and 8's were quite good. I heard both several times at my dealer's - well set up with top end Levinson electronics. Earlier models did not impress, although not sure I heard the 6's. However, I have read a number of Wilson owners comment on the 7 being a turning point with the WP sound.... toward a less analytical signature.
Sophia's are also quite good and easier to drive than WP's.
