Electronic product development. I made a career out of it and it’s been a great ride.

On further reflection it's no surprise at all. That's because, no matter how expert or especially skilled you are with anything, you're likely to eventually discover that there are others even better than you. Many learn this in college and those who don't usually learn it once they start working. I had a few careers before I retired. I worked many years as an editor. I was very, very good at it, and was rewarded for my skill and talent. But I also worked with editors who were better than me (some of them I hired) and I liked it that way. But that makes it difficult to proclaim yourself "expert." You're on a dead-end road if you don't surround yourself with people whose abilities can sometimes exceed yours.
